Hi! My name is Hunnie and everything you need to know about me is in my name. I am one of the sweetest, most laid back gals you will ever meet. I’m around 4 years old and heart worm positive. (But don’t worry about those heart worms. I’m expected to make a full recovery and HBR is taking full care of that!) I love my humans and I show it by giving them the biggest wigglebutt tail wag you ever did see! Most people say that my tail wags my entire body!

There’s more to me than being sweet though. I’m also very curious and really smart. I like to sit back and observe my environment. My foster mom says I don’t miss a single thing! I guess that comes from my past experiences. I had to be observant and watch out. You see before I ended up part of the HBR family, my other humans used me. They used me to produce litter after litter of puppies starting from a young age. When I wasn’t able to have more puppies I was dropped off at the shelter. Thank goodness HBR saved me from there!

My foster mom has assured me that all of that is in the past now though. She says with my sweet personality and my intelligence I’m going to make a great family dog. She also told me that there is someone special out there who will be willing to overlook what having all of those litters of puppies did to my belly and see that I’m the right family member for them! She also said that instead they will notice that I’m kind, housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs, and most importantly I’m the missing piece of their family. I sure hope she’s right!
