Hi! I’m new here. My name is Socks, and as you can see, I’m a young, energetic, enthusiastic, goofy, Boxer boy. I’m only about 2 years old, maybe a little less, and I am everything you would expect a one year old boxer pup to be!

I was found as a stray and taken in by a nice family. The family tried to find my old family so I could go home, but it didn’t work out. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but that’s when I found out that Houston Boxer Rescue had a spot open and they agreed to help me find a new family. Yippee! 

So now here I am, part of the HBR family, while I look for and dream about a new family that will love me forever. My dream family will love me for me! They will love me for all of my enthusiastic puppy energy, they will love me for my silly puppy shenanigans, and they will love me for my huge heart that’s the size of Texas, because I plan on loving them that much!

Speaking of love, I think this would be a really good time for me to tell you that I really love kids and other dogs. I love to play with them, snuggle, and then play some more. In fact, playing and snuggling are my specialities. I’m already a professional at those!

Now if I’m being honest though, I do have to tell you that I’m not perfect. I do still have a few things to learn, but that’s just because I’m young! If given a little bit of time, love, and training, by a family that loves me, I will grow up into a very well behaved (and handsome) young man!

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
