Hey ya'll! My name is Jeaux (Joe for the layman). I am an older dude, maybe 7ish, with some experience but please don't let that deter you. I am a big, stout boy and have been told I don't know my own strength. My foster mom has referred to me as a "Gentle Giant". I love all people and animals of all shapes and sizes. I currently live with three other dogs, some cats and a kid. I like to talk to my foster mom and human sibling about any and everything. I did live in a shelter before coming to rescue and had clearly been a bit neglected so ended up with the red bumps in my eyes that I've heard my foster mom refer to as cherries. I thought those were things you eat but it appears I have one in my eye and it is being cleared up with some medication. It doesn't bother or stop me from being a vocal cuddle bug.

I am crate and house trained but don't really like to be outside for long. I think it may stem from having been forced to be outside and possibly living on the streets for a bit. I just prefer a nice warm bed or blanket inside. In my foster home we have a "dog couch" that I'm allowed to lay on and look out the front window. I love to people watch but I don't ever bark at anybody I see outside cuz they just don't bother me.Oh and I LOVE toys, especially ropes to play tug-o-war. It's my FAVORITE!!  I do have these pesky things called heartworms but word is I will be getting treatment and will be good as new when that is done. As much as my foster family loves me and I love them, I would really like a forever home of my very own. I will love you and we can talk about anything you want. Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
