My name is SPUD and I was named after a champion steer wrestling cowboy who was here for the Houston Rodeo. I am a 1 1/2 year old, male boxer and I am a gorgeous boy if I do say so myself. I am very friendly, outgoing, and confident. I get along with other dogs and I am crate trained.
I am loving my new foster home and chasing the basketball around the back yard. I work for treats and I know I can learn more stuff if you hold one up for incentive - YUMMY! I already know how to 'sit' and 'down'. Isn't that a great start? There is a boxer youngster here and we are having a good time together!
I am a little strong on the lead but my foster Dad is teaching me to go easy, and that is cool with me. I just want to make everyone happy cuz I am a happy sort of guy!
