I have made great strides after a week in my foster home! When I got here I was afraid of my own shadow, and I hid most of time, thoroughly convinced I would be in trouble for 'something'. What a difference feeling safe, makes!
Now you might catch me wiggling my way into the kitchen with the two resident dogs to make sure I get in on the treat distribution! My foster Mom says I am very sweet and have a pretty little smiley face. I play with the other boxers and follow them outdoors to romp around. I really like the one called Ace! There are also some kids here and I wasn't sure about them at first. But I discovered I liked their cuddling and hugs quite a lot!
There is a cat that hangs around the neighborhood and it can walk right past me! I don't pay much attention to it and don't even bark! In fact my foster Mom has never heard me bark! I like being groomed and will wait my turn with the other pups. It feels soooo good! Lately there have been more toys on the floor because I have learned to play with them!
Won't you please help me continue on my way to a wonderful future? Every girl wants a happily-ever-after ending! Please tell me fairy tales really do come true!
